We host our website ourselves. For maintenance and support, we use a carefully selected service provider. The use of the service provider is based on Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the secure, fast, and efficient provision of our website.
Due to potential access to personal data by the service provider, we have concluded a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.

Data Processing When Visiting Our Website
1. Usage Data and Log Files

Information for Customers, Prospects, Suppliers, and Business Partners
1. General
We process personal data such as professional contact details to initiate and handle contractual relationships. We may also process data from public sources or authorized third parties. Data is stored in our ERP system on our own servers.
2. Customer Portal “Schoepedia”
We provide a portal for handling offers, orders, and documents. Required data is taken from our ERP system. After receiving an invitation email, users create personal login credentials. Optional data may be added. System data is collected upon portal use.

Legal basis: Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR.
Purpose: efficient handling of contracts.
Deletion follows ERP system retention periods. You may deactivate your account at any time.
2.2. Data Transfers
No data is transferred to third parties. Hosting takes place on our own infrastructure. Technical processing is supported by a contracted service provider under Art. 28 GDPR.
3. Data Exchange Portal
We provide a portal for transmitting large files. User accounts are created upon request. Users may add optional data. Technical system data is collected.

Legal basis: Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR.
Purpose: providing a controlled data exchange system.
Accounts can be deleted at any time via email.
3.2. Data Transfers

4. Newsletter
We offer a newsletter to customers. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR (direct marketing).
You may opt out at any time.

You may apply by email or post. Application data is transferred into our recruiting system. We process all data relevant for the selection process, including any special categories (e.g., health data) you provide. Publicly available profile information may also be used.

Purpose: initiating and establishing employment.
If employment is established, data continues to be processed accordingly.

Data is stored for six months after the end of the selection process unless longer storage is required or consented to.
